Photography is my greatest passion, and it is inspired by my fascination for fashion and creating art. What makes me different from other artists is this unique ability of combining the “ugly” and the “pretty” or the “edgy” and “colorful”. I went to college for a major in photography and during my first years in college, I spent my savings buying materials for my productions. Money was never a motivation, passion was. In that moment I realized that my purpose in life was to create art.

 

I learned how to become a creative director and a producer, how to coordinate and manage budget and production sets, using organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and objectives. I also learned how to use my leadership skills to create outstanding empowerment on the people around me. I pushed my art to the side for years and worked in other industries and focused on other things but my passion for art made me come back and pursue a higher education.

 

Identifying my differentiator allowed me to translate that into a business model. Understanding that art and creativity is non-linear and unorganized and design and businesses are structured and organized allowed me to embrace my uniqueness to become a visual designer to solve problems with a creative approach. Combining my experience, education, creativity, and business knowledge makes me powerful and a very well-rounded artist.
